    Understanding the Justice of God

    "For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many." (Matthew 20:28 NLT)

    Why the cross? Why didn't God simply say, "Look, everyone, I know you have sinned against Me, but I am going to pardon you right now. It's okay. I forgive all of you!"
