The concerns of this life—big, little, or anywhere in between—do nothing to facilitate putting the pieces of God’s good purpose together. Dependence is our goal. Releasing everything to His capable authority lets Him be our Provider, our Sufficiency, and our faithful Father. He already knows what we need anyway.
We want God’s victories—joy over sorrow, peace over stress, comfort over chaos, hope over despair. We can confidently say there is no trouble in this life that God has not overcome. Our days are in His hands, our lives are His to command, and our peace is the gift no worry can withstand.
Father, I will open my heart, release my worries, and relax in Your truth today.
