The last few months have been a thrilling wedding-oriented season because my oldest daughter is getting married! The gown, the veil, the tux, the location, the flowers, the ceremony plans, but far above all of that… oh my goodness, the love! Watching two people swirl in love with one another and make plans for their lives together is nothing short of gorgeous, don’t you think? It’s more than knowing and loving one another, more than talking every day, more than committing to choose one another and stick together through challenging seasons. It’s deciding “You’re mine and I’m yours” and nothing but death will tear us apart.

That’s what we’re going to be diving into in our next community Online Bible Study, Song of Songs by Lisa Harper, starting August 24! Although we may think God is somehow obliged to care about us, the truth is that He loves us scandalously! Our wounds and scars don’t repel Him; He calls us beautiful!
