God has us on a path, and He always has a reason for it.
~ Rachel-Ruth Lotz Wright
Sometimes life changes in an instant...
The diagnosis you never expected.
The betrayal you never saw coming.
The disappointment that leaves you wondering what God is doing… and where He is in the middle of it all.
Most of us know what it feels like to land in a pit we never would have chosen.
That’s why I’m so grateful for the story of Joseph in the Bible, and want to personally invite you to our next Online Bible Study, God Won’t Leave You There, a Bible Study on the Life of Joseph, by Anne Graham Lotz and Rachel-Ruth Lotz Wright.
Joseph’s life was full of unexpected twists and painful turns—betrayal, abandonment, injustice, waiting, suffering. Yet through every moment, even the darkest ones, God was with him. Quietly guiding. Protecting. Positioning. Redeeming.
And the same is true for us.
One of the truths I love most from this study is this: when God puts you in a hard place, it is never wasted.
He is still at work in the waiting.
Still present in the pain.
Still writing a story that can lead to healing, hope, and restoration.
Anne and Rachel-Ruth remind us that Joseph’s story ultimately points us to Jesus—the One who also suffered, was rejected, and yet brought redemption through it all. And because of Him, we can trust that our suffering is never the end of the story.
“If you find yourself on a path of suffering… look for Jesus in the shadows. He is with you. He is guiding you. And He will bring you through.”
~ Anne Graham Lotz
I think so many of us need that reminder right now.
We begin the online Bible study with Anne and Rachel-Ruth on July 13, and I would truly love for you to join us.
No matter what season you’re walking through right now, I hope you’ll come be part of this beautiful summer of remembering that God is still good, still faithful, and still leading us forward—even when we cannot yet see where the road is going.
He won’t leave you there.
With you,
Laurie
P.S. When you sign up, you get FREE access to the videos with Anne and Rachel-Ruth and other Bible study bonuses! We’re starting July 13, so buckle up for a summer of remembering God’s goodness in every season of life and trusting in His wonderful plan.
