Friend,   I didn’t grow up in a home that modeled healthy relationships.   In fact, my mother was married and divorced seven times. Those relationships were filled with conflict and instability. As a child, I didn’t see what a godly marriage looked like, and I certainly didn’t have a clear example of how strong relationships are supposed to work. But I knew one thing: I didn’t want that pattern to define my life.   When I gave my life to Christ as a young man, I began to discover something I had never really seen before: God has a design for relationships. His Word shows us how to treat one another, resolve conflict, remain faithful, and build connections that actually last.   Over the years, Cathe and I have tried to build our marriage and family around those biblical principles. It hasn’t been perfect. Like every couple, we’ve faced disagreements and challenges. But we’ve learned that when Christ is at the center, relationships can grow stronger instead of falling apart.   That’s what led me to write my new book, Am I Doing This Right? In it, I talk about the relationships all of us navigate: singleness, dating, marriage, friendship, family, and even how we relate to people who don’t share our faith. My son Jonathan also contributes to the book, offering perspective from a younger generation and giving insight into what it means to follow Christ and build meaningful relationships today.  Build Meaningful Relationships This book explores practical, biblical principles for standing strong against temptation, resolving conflict, building godly friendships, and living among unbelievers with both love and truth. My hope is that it provides you with a clear, biblical blueprint for relationships that honor God and bless the people around you. This topic matters now more than ever.
