  • Why “morning by morning” means so much to me
  • Hi there,

    Do you love hymns like I do? Did you know that "Great Is Thy Faithfulness" is rooted in Lamentations 3:23? That verse—"His mercies are new every morning"—is one I come back to often. Especially when I need the reminder that every morning is an opportunity for fresh starts and connection with our faithful, merciful God.

    Listen again to these familiar words:

    Great is Thy faithfulness, O God, my Father;
    There is no shadow of turning with Thee.
    Thou changest not, Thy compassions, they fail not;
    As Thou hast been, Thou forever wilt be.

    Those words are at the heart of our next Online Bible Study, The Great Morning Revolution by Tara Beth Leach, starting January 19.

    Scripture reminds us that morning is more than the start of a new day—it is a holy invitation.

    In The Great Morning Revolution, we'll trace that theme across Scripture, beginning in the opening pages of Genesis, where God brings light out of darkness. From there, we'll move through the Psalms, the Prophets, and the Gospels, discovering how God consistently meets His people with renewal, mercy, and hope at daybreak.

    It's a thoughtful, Scripture-rich look at morning themes throughout the Bible—and why our mornings matter to God, with practical and purposeful ways to begin each day with Him.

    Together, we'll explore:

  • The biblical significance of morning throughout Scripture
  • God's unchanging character and daily mercy
  • How beginning the day with God shapes the rest of our lives
  • A simple, sustainable rhythm of prayer to carry us through 2026

  • The study is completely free to join and includes weekly video teaching, helpful downloads, and a welcoming online community of people who love God's Word and long to go deeper.

    The hymn says it so beautifully:

    Morning by morning new mercies I see.
    All I have needed Thy hand hath provided;
    Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me.

    My prayer is that each morning during this study reminds you of that truth. Are you in? I would love for you to join us. It's not too late to sign up!
