Every morning, my husband Jeff and I begin with a GREAT morning prayer routine.
This rhythm of prayer was born out of a season when God was leading me from wilderness into renewal. I had just walked through deep loss, and I sensed the Lord inviting me to awaken again—in my spirit but also in my body.
So, I began rising early with a simple pattern:
Gratitude — naming what is still good
Reflection — letting Scripture re-orient me
Exaltation — lifting my eyes toward God
Asking — bringing my honest needs
Trusting — releasing what I cannot carry alone
For years, I treated mornings as something to survive.
But the slow, faithful act of greeting God at daybreak has been forming me—reshaping my imagination, grounding my identity, and enlarging my capacity to love.
It hasn't removed the chaos of life, but it's changed the way I move through it.
As we head into 2026, imagine what might happen if we let our mornings become altars—where silence softens us, Scripture studies us, gratitude awakens us, and God meets us in our groggy waking hearts.
Could you use a steadier, more grounded way to begin your days? Maybe prayer isn't new to you, but it feels rushed, inconsistent, or hard to sustain.
If so, I hope you'll join me for The GREAT Morning Revolution Online Bible Study—and consider inviting a friend to begin with you. The FaithGateway community is opening the teaching videos and online experience completely free.
Let's meet with God morning by morning and discover how beginning each day in His presence can quietly change everything.
