Hi friends,
Even though I grew up in a Christian home and committed my life to Jesus at age nine, I had never truly questioned my faith until college—when one of my childhood friends was killed instantly in a car wreck.
I remember collapsing on my dorm room floor and crying out, Where are you, Jesus? Are You even real?!
In that season of heartbreak, I felt a deep, hollow emptiness. And yet, it was that very pain that drove me to investigate what I believed—much like Lee Strobel did when he was digging into the evidence for Christianity as an award-winning investigative journalist.
I began examining Scripture, history, and evidence, searching for the truth about Jesus. And just as Lee's questioning ultimately led him to faith, mine brought me back to a deeper, stronger relationship with Christ. Now, when I look back over the storms of my life, I can see clearly that Jesus never left me—not even when I felt numb or hollow inside.
Maybe you're walking through your own storm right now. Or someone you love may be navigating their own questions and heartaches.
If there's anything my own journey has taught me, it's this: truth matters when your world breaks.
That's why I'm especially excited about our next Online Bible Study, The Case for Christmas with Lee Strobel.
In a season when so many are wrestling with doubt, deconstruction, skepticism, or just a longing for renewed confidence in their faith, Lee invites us to look at the evidence for the birth of Jesus with fresh eyes. Together, we'll explore:
- What history and archaeology reveal about the real Christmas story
- How Old Testament prophecies point directly to Jesus
- Why the Incarnation is more than a tradition—it's truth
- How a deeper understanding of the evidence strengthens our faith
If you've ever wondered—or if you love someone who is wondering—this study is for you. And truly, this is a wonderful opportunity to invite unbelieving or questioning friends and family to join you.
I'd love for you to walk through this with me. Let's rediscover the truth behind Christmas—together.
With hope,
Erin
