  • URGENT NEED: Help rush emergency relief to the Ukrainian people

    Dear Beliefnet Reader,

For more than three weeks, the world has watched the horror of war unfold in Ukraine. For the past 20 days, RUN Ministries has been providing humanitarian aid and the hope found in Jesus to the Ukrainian people. Click here to help.

RUN is partnering with organizations to deliver 20 tons of food, hand out more than 250,000 Bibles, and organize multiple warehouses — all operating thanks to hundreds of volunteers in Ukraine. Here's a note we received this week from Victoria, a RUN team member serving on the frontlines of this war:

Dear my friends! One more time, I greet you with the love of Jesus Christ. Thank you so much for your prayers, for your ministry, and for your support. We feel it. Twenty days of war have already passed, and unfortunately, there is no end, no light at the end of the tunnel. People are losing hope and faith that this war will end soon. Unfortunately, the pain grows and faith weakens. I would like to believe that our strength will not leave us, but physically and emotionally, it becomes more difficult. Please continue to pray and continue to support us as much as you can.

Our teams are providing food, water and other emergency relief to people in Ukraine. RUN Ministries started our relief work with just a few vans and a handful of volunteers. Fast-forward almost three weeks, and we now have a network of emergency vehicles. They include buses, trucks, and even trains! Click here to help.

With help from friends like you, we're rescuing orphans, families, and the elderly. After dropping off food in Kiev last week, our team loaded women and children into their van and carried them to safety. It was heartbreaking to see three generations of Ukrainians affected so profoundly by war.

Our greatest challenges are ensuring the survival of those fleeing the violence and keeping our teams out of harm's way. (We just secured flak jackets and helmets that are now on their way to protect our volunteers.) Please see our previous email below to learn more about RUN's lifesaving efforts in Ukraine. Or click here to help men, women, and children in harm's way.

Thanks, in advance, for your faithful prayers and generous support on behalf of the Ukrainian people.

    Until all have heard,

    Eric Watt
    President, RUN Ministries

P.S. No one really knows when the crisis in Ukraine will end. That means we must keep working to help those in harm's way. Click here to support our efforts to provide food, water and other humanitarian aid to families in desperate need. Your tax-deductible donation of any amount today is greatly appreciated.

    Dear Beliefnet Reader,

RUN Ministries is committed to bringing the love, hope and peace of Jesus Christ to EVERY PEOPLE in EVERY PLACE. While our teams are working in several nations around the world, our primary focus over the past weeks has been helping the Ukrainian people. Click here to help.

RUN's humanitarian efforts include providing food, water and other urgently needed relief supplies to men, women, and children currently in harm's way. Here's a short list of what our teams are accomplishing in Ukraine:
    1. We're partnering with the Bible Society for food distribution, evacuating women and children, and sharing the gospel.
    2. We've secured a bus that transports food and other emergency supplies to cities under siege. Then, on the return trip, that same bus carries women and children to safety.
    3. We're working with an amazing and courageous volunteer team. These brothers and sisters in Christ are doing everything they can to save their nation.
I know this probably sounds cliché, but it's really not: We can't do any of this without the faithful prayers and financial support of friends like you. Prayer is pivotal to everything God has called RUN to do. Everything! Financial support is also important because it's a lifeline of love and hope to people stranded in a war zone. Click here to help.

Our staff has been in constant, direct contact with translation partners in Ukraine since the start of Russia's invasion. Our outreach and logistics teams are working to transport and deliver humanitarian aid and relief supplies that can help Ukrainian families under siege. We will distribute water and food as long as the supply routes stay open.

You can be a blessing to RUN Ministries and everyone in our care! Click here to help Ukrainian men, women, and children in harm's way. Thank you, in advance, for your prayers and gifts today.

    Until all have heard,

    Eric Watt
    President, RUN Ministries

P.S. I'll have more details in the coming days. Keeping the supply routes open is pivotal to the survival of millions of Ukrainians. Please pray and help us meet this urgent need with your tax-deductible donation of any amount. Click here to support our lifesaving efforts to deliver emergency food and water to families in desperate need.
