OK… might sound crazy…. but think about this…. life WITHOUT a ball point pen!!!

Before 1943, if you wanted to write a letter or scribble a note, you had to use a fountain pen (MESSY) or a pencil.
The ballpoint pen was originally created as a cleaner and more reliable alternative.
In the early years, attempts by inventors led to failed patents because their “pens” did not deliver the ink evenly… and their were clogging issues.
However… on June 10, 1943, the Laszlo and Gyorgy Biro brothers obtained their patent for the ballpoint pen! THANKS!!!
So…. to celebrate:
