Well that was fast! I put out a teaser this morning and just sold the first pen! I am very happy to be working with the guys at Kill Devil Rum on this little project I had in mind. They provided me with a barrel and I would make pens out of it for them to sell! Cool! Picked this great brass model, got some made and delivered...then COVID slapped us all in the face! UGH! Kill Devil Rum is open but they are restricted to the number of people they can have in so they have to hold off on their tours. (Just an aside...you can still buy rum there...and they just put in SLUSHIE machines with RUM AND COKE and MOJITOS!) But back to the pens...I talked with Matt and we decided that I would take the pens back to my shop and sell them until they can get fully operational again. So here they are! These are a heavy brass click ball point made with the official oak barrel of Kill Devil Rum! And what a fabulous gift they make! I have a few here and will be working on more right away. They are $75 plus tax and I have to say...it is a damn fine pen!
