Have many been taught wrong and deceived?
Some things that were taught as truth at one time
or another, but, are not true: the earth is flat,
the sun revolves around the earth, Columbus
discovered America [people were already here],
plus many more. This is a KJV Bible study guide.
Many are relying on a so-called rapture before the
great tribulation of antichrist. Could this be
false as well? Why are so many relying on this
teaching? They don't know what the future brings
because of Biblical illiteracy, plain and simple!
Jesus has foretold us all things! Mark 13:21-27
gives us the exact sequence of end times events.
See the individual verses explained below:
Mark 13:21 During this time, if anyone tells you
"here is the Messiah," or "here is the Christ."
Don't believe them. (It is the false-Christ). Many
believe that the antichrist will be the opposite
of Christ. But the word antichrist means "instead
of Christ”, in Greek, and he will try to be as
much like Christ as he can. "Do not be deceived!"
Don't go there! Why? The false Christ comes first
(sixth trump), before the real Christ (seventh
trump).
Mark 13:22 You are going to have false Christ's
and false prophets in these times. (Matthew 7:15-
16). They will perform and display powers that
will even fool the very elect. (Matthew 24:24).
What Jesus wants us to know is that we need to be
cautious when listening to someone who claims to
be of God. (Matthew 7:21-23), You must be doing
the will of God, teaching the truth of His Word.
Not the will of man. The question is; are they
obeying God, and doing His will? At judgment, many
will say they were doing the work of Christ, but
God did not send these false teachers. God will
reject and expose them for their evil deeds and
false teachings.
Mark 13:23 Christ has warned us! Now be prepared
for the time ahead! (Luke 21:34).
Mark 13:24 After the time of anguish of those
days, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will
give no light, (after AntiChrist/Satan's
tribulation). "Remember, there are two
tribulations, Satan's tribulation and God's
tribulation."
Mark 13:25 There will be a great shake-up. (You
will know when it is happening).
Mark 13:26 God takes control. Again, you will know
when this happens. Also, see Revelation 19:11-16.
Mark 13:27 His angels will [gather] His chosen
ones (the elect), from the four corners of the
earth and heaven.
The word [gather], as used here, means what in
the Greek language? [To gather together besides,
to bring together to others already assembled (His
angels)]. Where will Jesus be standing when He
gathers His chosen ones? See the next verse.
John 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you,
[I will come again], and [receive] you unto
myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
[Where was Jesus standing when He said this {I
will come again}? In the clouds or on earth]? He
was talking to His disciples here on earth. He
didn't say He was coming partway back. The word
[receive] means what? [To take to, to take with
one's self, to join to one's self, an associate, a
companion]. He comes back to the exact place from
where He ascended; see (Acts 1:10-11).
He has foretold us all things. His word is written
and it is meant to be read, all of it; not just a
verse here and there. “It is written” occurs over
90 times in scripture. “Have ye not read” occurs 7
times in scripture. He emphasizes reading it. I
wonder why? Have you read it?
Psalm 90:10 "The days of our years are threescore
years and ten; and if by reason of strength they
be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour
and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly
away."
Some believe, “and we fly away”, in the above
verse is talking about the rapture; not so. The
subject is that these flesh bodies will die
eventually and our spirits go back to God who gave
it (Ecclesiastes 12:7). Also, check out the verses
prior to this one; same subject, death of our
flesh bodies. This "threescore years and ten" is
the 70 year generation. God has given men and
women a life span of seventy years in this flesh
body. However, if by our "strength, labor and
sorrow", by our careful planning and right diet
and living it may be extended a few years. Sure we
might make it to ninety years old, but in those
added years they will not be the strength of the
prime of our life. There is one thing for sure and
that is in time all of flesh mankind will die and
our souls will return to the Father that placed
our soul in our body at conception.

Does God make mistakes?

Question: "Does God make mistakes?"
Answer: God makes no mistakes. His perfection and
greatness disallow mistakes: “Great is the LORD,
and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is
unsearchable.” (Psalm 145:3). In other words,
God’s greatness is infinite. This statement cannot
refer to a fallible person, for, with even one
mistake, his greatness would be quantifiable and
finite.
God’s ability to do all things and comprehend all
matters also prevents Him from making mistakes:
“Great is our Lord, and of great power: his
understanding is infinite.” (Psalm 147:5). Again,
Scripture shows that God is infallible. Limited
knowledge leads to mistakes, but God has unlimited
knowledge and makes no mistakes.
God has made no mistakes in His creation of the
world. God’s infinite wisdom, infinite power, and
infinite goodness combined to produce a perfect
world. At the end of six days of creation, God
surveyed all He had made and pronounced it “very
good” Genesis 1:31. There was no exception or
qualification or disappointment. Just the
statement “very good.” The one and only true God
made all the races of humans; He didn’t make a
mistake! Many humans think otherwise. That is
something they will have to explain to God on
judgment day.
“God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the
son of man, that he should repent: hath he said,
and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and
shall he not make it good?” (Numbers 23:19).
Unlike man, God makes no mistakes and has no
afterthoughts leading to a change of mind. God
makes no decrees that He must later annul because
He did not consider all the consequences or
because He did not possess the power to fulfill.
Also, God is not like man whose sinfulness
requires judgment. “This then is the message which
we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that
God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.”
(1 John 1:5). “The LORD is righteous in all his
ways, and in all his works.” (Psalm 145:17).
Some claim that Scripture shows God having second
thoughts about His creation: “And God saw that the
wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that
every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was
only evil. And it repented the LORD that he had
made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his
heart. And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom
I have created from the face of the earth; both
man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the
fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have
made them.” (Genesis 6:5-7).
God was not showing weakness, admitting an error,
or regretting a mistake. Rather, He was expressing
His need to take specific, drastic action to
counteract the wickedness of mankind: “Everything
they thought or imagined was consistently and
totally evil” Genesis 6:5. The fact that God did
not consider His creation a mistake is proved by
the world’s continued existence. We’re still here,
sinful though we are. Praise the Lord for His
grace: “Moreover the law entered, that the offence
might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did
much more abound:” (Romans 5:20), and “But Noah
found grace in the eyes of the LORD.” (Genesis
6:8).
God has never made a mistake. He has had a purpose
in everything, and outcomes are no surprise to
Him, for He declares the end from the beginning:
“Remember the former things of old: for I am God,
and there is none else; I am God, and there is
none like me, Declaring the end from the
beginning, and from ancient times the things that
are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand,
and I will do all my pleasure:” (Isaiah 46:9-10).
Someone may think God has made a mistake in his or
her own personal life. Certain experiences and
conditions beyond our control make us wonder if
God has maybe miscalculated. However, “And we know
that all things work together for good to them
that love God, to them who are the called
according to his purpose.” (Romans 8:28). This
takes faith to accept, but “(For we walk by faith,
not by sight:)” (2 Corinthians 5:7). In everything
we must understand that the things of this life
are expendable and are being spent for our eternal
reward according to the wisdom of Him who “Now
unto him that is able to keep you from falling,
and to present you faultless before the presence
of his glory with exceeding joy,” (Jude 1:24). We
can rejoice that our Lord God makes no mistakes in
our lives but has a good and loving purpose for
everything He allows.
For we have not an high priest which cannot be
touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but
was in all points tempted like as we are, yet
without sin. (Hebrews 4:15). Satan was desperate
to reveal even one fault in Jesus, but the devil
utterly failed in his attempts (Matthew 4:1-11).
But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a
lamb without blemish and without spot: (1 Peter
1:19). At the end of Jesus’ life, His earthly
judge, declared, “Then said Pilate to the chief
priests and to the people, I find no fault in this
man.” (Luke 23:4).
We live with our mistakes, big and little, petty
and disastrous, and we get used to making them.
But we serve an infallible, mistake-free God whose
greatness cannot be fathomed. “Many, O LORD my
God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done,
and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: if I would
declare and speak of them, they are more than can
be numbered.” (Psalm 40:5). It’s good to know that
God’s in charge and that He who makes no mistakes
can more than compensate for ours.
